The Year End Annual Meeting of the Moweaqua Village Council was called to order by Mayor Lowe leading in the Pledge to the Flag. Roll Call was answered by Jon King, Howard Wise, Mark Thomas, Steve Ruot, Jim Mahone and Mike Reschke. Chief McLearin was also present.

After additions and corrections Reschke made the motion to pay the year end bills, Thomas seconded. Council voting Yes: King, Wise, Thomas, Ruot, Mahone and Reschke. No: None.

Mayor Lowe commended the Village employees for their hard work this past year.

Jordan requested permission to move money within his 2007-2008 budget to balance accounts. Mahone made the motion to approve moving funds within the Water and Sewer budget to balance accounts, Ruot seconded. Council voting Yes: King, Wise, Thomas, Ruot, Mahone and Reschke. No: None.

Reschke presented the Amended Annual Budget for 2008-2009 and gave a brief explanation of the changes. After discussion, King made the motion to approve the Amended Annual Budget, Thomas seconded. Council voting Yes: King, Wise, Thomas, Ruot, Mahone and Reschke. No: None.

Mayor Lowe requested approval to donate the Villages old copier to the Golf Course. Mahone made the motion to donate the old copier to the Golf Course, Thomas seconded. Council voting Yes: King, Wise, Thomas, Ruot, Mahone and Reschke. No: None.

Mayor Lowe requested approval to send the newsletter to print. After Council review, Mahone made the motion to approve the newsletter going to print, Ruot seconded. Council voting Yes: King, Wise, Thomas, Ruot, Mahone and Reschke. No: None.

Mayor Lowe requested a motion to adjourn if there was no further business to come before Council. Ruot made the motion to adjourn, Wise seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:30.
