The Year End Annual Meeting of the Moweaqua Village Council was called to order by Mayor Ruot leading in the Pledge to the Flag. Roll Call was answered by Marcia Maynard, Don Henry, Larry Burgener, Joann Lower, Dave Little and Zach Hite. Water and Sewer Superintendent, Louis Jordan was present. Others present were Mike Reschke, Boomer and Jennifer Neece, Shawn Conlin, Marabeth Sarver and Sharon Reschke.

Maynard made the motion to approve the Year End Bills to be Paid with additions and corrections, Hite seconded. Council voting Yes: Maynard, Henry, Burgener, Lower, Little and Hite. No: None.

Mayor Ruot presented a request from the Treasurer to transfer $11,754.01 from the Telephone Tax Account to the General Fund for reimbursement of property maintenance wages, drainage expenses and street signs purchased in Fiscal Year 2014-2015. Little made the motion to transfer $11,754.01 from the Telephone Tax Account to the General Fund for reimbursement of property maintenance wages, drainage expenses and street signs purchased in Fiscal Year 2014-2015, Henry seconded. Council voting Yes: Maynard, Henry, Burgener, Lower, Little and Hite. No: None.

Clerk Mischelle Davis presented a quote from Central States Fireworks. Davis explained that the cost for the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration would be the same as last year, $10,000.00 for a display comparable to last year. Lower made the motion to approve the quote of $10,000.00 from Central States Fireworks, Maynard seconded. Council voting Yes: Maynard, Henry, Burgener, Lower, Little and Hite. No: None.

Mayor Ruot requested approval to have the Golf Course pond pumps and aerators repaired using funds from the 1{d3bb7c3d20bb2c333f8bbb4cc4dee311415bccd1d2e8a98d1fef6c9530e85137} Business Tax. Mayor Ruot stated that the approximate cost for repairs is $3,000.00 to $4,000.00 and there is currently $20,000.00 in the Business Tax Fund. Burgener made the motion to use funds from the 1{d3bb7c3d20bb2c333f8bbb4cc4dee311415bccd1d2e8a98d1fef6c9530e85137} Business Tax to replace or repair the Golf Course pond pumps and aerators for approximately $3,000.00 to $4,000.00, Lower seconded. Council voting Yes: Maynard, Henry, Burgener, Lower, Little and Hite. No: None.

After New Business Mayor Ruot called on the newly elected officials to come forward to be sworn in by the Clerk. Mayor Ruot welcomed new trustees Boomer Neece, Mike Reschke and Shawn Conlin.

After discussion Mayor Ruot requested a motion to adjourn if there was no further business to come before Council. Neece made the motion to adjourn, Conlin seconded. Council voting Yes: Neece, Henry, Burgener, Lower, Reschke and Conlin. No: None.
