Planning & Zoning
The Planning & Zoning Commission reviews proposed amendments to zoning ordinances, site plans and plat applications, and also makes recommendations to the Council regarding the current and future development of the Village of Moweaqua.
A building permit application must be obtained from the Deputy Clerk and approved BEFORE any tpe of building project is started. This includes building additions, garages, porches, sheds,portable sheds, fences, in-ground pools, driveways, new construction, etc. A fine will be charged for any project started without obtaining a building permit first.
