Notice is hereby given that the Village of Moweaqua Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at the Moweaqua Village Hall, 122 N. Main Street, Moweaqua, IL 62550 on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. regarding recommendation to the Village Council to approve a proposed ordinance concerning short term vacation rentals and recommendation to amend Zoning Code to allow and regulate solar energy installations.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 6:15 p.m. at 
the Village Hall, 122 N. Main Street, Moweaqua, IL 62550, to discuss the proposed Sewage System 
Improvements Project Summary and Preliminary Environmental Impacts Determination (PEID) for all 
aspects of an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) loan program. The project involves 
improvements and rehabilitation to their sewage treatment plant and collection system, to be 
completed in two phases, with a total project estimated cost of $10,047,000. 
A copy of said Project Summary and PEID are available for viewing at the Moweaqua Village Hall.  At said 
public hearing, any person wishing to be heard may be present.   A comment period of at least 10 days 
after the public hearing will be provided for any written comments and may be submitted to the Village 
of Moweaqua, 122 N. Main Street, Moweaqua, IL 62550, or to Jasmine Mallory, IEPA Project Manager, 
Infrastructure Financial Assistance Section, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Water, 
1021 North Grand Avenue East, P.O. Box 19276, Springfield, IL 62794-9276.
