Village of Moweaqua Shelter (Cooling Center/Warming Center)

Moweaqua Community Shelter is located in the fire station at 120 W. Wall St. The shelter will be open for extreme heat (cooling center) extreme cold (warming center), in the event of an emergency or disaster.

The Shelter has 60 cots, blankets, restrooms, generator backup power and the ability to serve food. Activations of the shelter will be broadcast on local TV and Radio stations in our area, or by contact with the Village of Moweaqua, Moweaqua Fire Department, Moweaqua Police Department, and Moweaqua Lions Club. Please report all Emergency problems or concerns to 911.
